Final Approach |2015 Summer Camps

The warmer weather has arrived and we look forward to many long, sunny days with clear skies in the seasons ahead. Have you thought about what your summer will look like? Don’t let another summer fly by that will be easily forgotten. We invite you to join the Warsaw Flying Club for our Junior Aviators or Aviation Academy Summer Camps to make this summer unforgettable.

Available for ages 8-12, our Junior Aviators Summer Camp runs from June 15-19, from 9am-12noon. During our week together, the Junior Aviators a will learn about different careers in aviation, weather and navigation, basic flight info, and will take a Discovery Flight in the Warsaw Flying Club's Cessna 172. During this exciting flight, students will not only ride in a single engine aircraft, but will have the opportunity to fly the plane as well, an experience some adults only dream of! This half hour flight will be their first flight lesson in training to become a private pilot and will be the first entry in their log book! Upon the completion of camp, students will receive a pilot’s logbook, a t-shirt, and a video of their first flight.

Looking for something with an older crowd? Have a teen that’s interested in Aviation as a possible career? Help them explore their options in aviation with the Aviators Academy Summer Camp, July 13-17, 9am-12noon. Similar to the Junior Aviators Camp, the curriculum is geared more toward an older audience. This camp is for teens, ages 13-17, who are interested in pursuing a possible career in aviation. These students may even have a goal to attain their pilot’s license before they finish high school! Imagine the hands on experience they will receive by choosing to fly with us.

Take it one step further and join our Flying Tigers Summer Program is designed for students looking to earn their pilot’s license in 3 short months, specifically for youth ages 16-20.
