During this lesson, the student will become familiar with the instrument training airplane, reviewing preflight, takeoff, and landing procedures as well as practice attitude instrument flight with emphasis on precise aircraft control solely by instrument reference.

STANDARDS:

The student will perform the takeoffs and landings safely and to private pilot proficiency. During the flight, the student will maintain altitude +/-200 feet, heading +/-15 degrees and airspeed +/-15 knots.
