Warsaw Flying Club Prepares Aircraft for Upcoming Season
Once a year, all aircraft must be thoroughly inspected and replace any components that are not up to standards. During the annual inspection, every inspection panel is removed; controls, brakes, fuel lines, and logbooks are scrutinized while compressions are tested on the cylinders, propeller balance is tested and the major spars are inspected for cracks and signs of wear. As an aircraft owner, it's the most painful time of the year, and coincides nicely with the tax season. As the Warsaw Flying Club recently turned one year old, we experienced our first annual with our mechanics. While we're glad to have it done, it has proved useful in both aircraft at the club. The 152 and 172 are both back in service and ready for your next flight.
