Ryan Russel Solos!
On a cool, crisp January morning, Ryan Russel took to flight for the first time without his instructor. January 12th, 2006 will be a prominent date in Ryan's logbook wherein he will have his first minute of flight time as pilot-in-command. Congratulations Ryan!
Steve Wishart Passes Private Pilot Checkride!
In
a shock to everyone watching this developing story, Steve Wishart did the
unexpected and passed his Private Pilot Checkride. While the Cessna
152 had a few items that needed to be attended-to by maintenance, Steve
couldn't wait. He jumped into the Warrior with CFI David Fussle and
learned the ropes of the new Piper. After only three hours in the
airplane, Wishart was back in Elkhart to take his checkride. He passed
with flying colors and finally achieved his life-long dream of becoming a
pilot. With the accomplishment under his belt, he beat his son to the
feat. His son is a student at the Naval Academy in Maryland.
Congratulations to Steve for everything!
