Squawk Ident | WFC Volunteers Needed

As we get closer to the biggest local event of the year, the Air Show of Warsaw, we anticipate a great crowd and lots of excitement for aviation. Each year, this event brings thousands right to our door for us to showcase what we are all about. At the Warsaw Flying Club, we want to give everyone a taste of flight and an opportunity to pursue their dreams in aviation.

In order to truly showcase who we are, we need our members and student pilots to help us out! You make this club what it is and without you, we don’t exist. That’s why we need your help this weekend during the air show.

A few of our volunteer opportunities are as follows:

  • Movie night prep and tear down
  • Friday booth host
  • Young Gun movie concession stand
  • Saturday booth hosts
  • Sunday booth hosts

Volunteers are needed as we host a movie night on Friday, August 14th to help set-up, pass out fliers, and tear down the movie and screening area. Saturday, all day to help us work the WFC booth, sell Discovery Flights and pass out info on the WFC. As well as Sunday as we continue to sell and schedule Discovery Flights for people interested in our club.

We can’t pull this off without your help and this year’s show is looking to be quite spectacular! Even if you don’t have time to volunteer with us for a few hours, we hope you’ll bring your family to the airshow and WFC at some point during the weekend and show your support of aviation!

This is going to be a great weekend for us and our future club members and students and we thank you in advance for offering your time to volunteer throughout the weekend. In appreciation for your help and support, we will have volunteer vouchers for those helping on Friday and Sunday. Contact Katye if you are interested in volunteering and we look forward to seeing you at this year's Air Show of Warsaw.
