More About Captain Jon Fussle
Chief Flight Instructor
In
2010, the founder of the Warsaw Flying Club stepped down as President.
With his focus on flying in Haiti for relief efforts, launching a political
career, and growing WFC's sister company,
FlexShares, Jon Fussle resigned his
position and appointed the extremely competent Erik Fussle as his
replacement.
Jon Fussle has been
flying since 1995 and flight instructing since 2000 and has
more than 2,500 hours instructing. In 2004, he started the Warsaw
Flying Club by selling everything he owned to buy
N24939. He has over 13,000
hours total and is a retired Captain for US Airways
Express. His passion to fly, and to teach others how to fly, has been
the driving force behind his work at the Warsaw Flying Club. He writes
a periodical column called The Captain's
Seat.
