LESSON OBJECTIVE:

During this lesson, the student should demonstrate increased proficiency in performing standard VOR and NDB holding patterns. The student will be introduced to nonstandard NDB and standard localizer holding procedures.

COMPLETION STANDARDS:

The student will demonstrate the necessary skill and knowlege to perform the correct holding pattern entries and procedures for standard and nonstandard VOR holding patterns as well as standard NDB holding patterns. The student will exhibit basic understanding and ability to fly nonstandard NDB and localizer holding patterns using the appropriate entry, timing, and wind correction procedures.
