COMPLETION STANDARDS: The student will demonstrate the skill to perform cross-country flights safely. This includes accurate and complete preflight planning, weather analysis, use of FAA publications and charts, adherence to the preplanned flight, and the use of pilotage, dead reckoning, and radio navigation, including a two-hour flight at least part of which must be on Federal Airways. |
