WFC Receives National Recognition

The Warsaw Flying Club been awarded the 2017 Flight Training Excellence Award. This is the fourth year we have received this award in the last five years. Warsaw Flying Club also earned the distinction as the only flight school in Indiana to receive the award, and is among the top 4% of flight schools nationwide.

AOPA Award

The Flight Training Excellence Award was awarded to the Warsaw Flying Club for its high standard of accomplishment in flight training by The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the world’s largest aviation association.

Awarded to high scoring flight schools across the nation, the Warsaw Flying Club has earned a spot on the 2017 Flight Training Experience Awards as a Distinguished Flight School, from AOPA’s annual Flight Training Experience Survey. AOPA’s Flight Training Experience Awards were created to highlight the best flight training the industry has to offer.

“This year’s group of schools and CFIs were especially close as we analyzed the results of the 2017 Flight Training Experience Survey”, said Chris Moser, director of AOPA’s Flight Training Initiative. “It gives me great confidence to both hear about some incredible flight training providers and to see how much their customers truly value them.”

Warsaw Flying Club Vice-President, Katye Fussle, points their success to students that make the WFC such a great place to learn. “We have worked hard to grow a pilot community that is safe, proficient, social, welcoming, and active. We are so humbled to receive this award, but it is more of a reflection of the great people around us here at the Club. Our staff, students, and members are what make us so successful, and we couldn’t be here without them.

We are happy to offer flight training from beginner to professional pilot including Private and Commercial licenses, as well as Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings. Club members can choose from six different aircraft, ranging from the Piper J3 Cub on floats, to the twin-engine Piper Seneca and Comanche.

The Warsaw Flying Club has trained more than 200 pilots since opening it’s doors in 2004. For more information about the club and stay up to date on latest events, visit us on Facebook, or call us via phone at 888-566-3877 to schedule your first flight.
